Miranda Lambert is going to recieve first Merle Haggard Spirit Award

Miranda Lambert will get the ACM Merle Haggard Spirit Award at the 2016 ACM Honors. 

The recompense was built up this year out of appreciation for the late Haggard, as indicated by Rolling Stone. This new grant means to perceive the commitments of Haggard by recognizing craftsmen who embody his uncompromising honesty and "particular vision in cutting a permanent way in down home music." 

 This year Miranda Lambert is going to recieve the Merle Haggard award."Merle was a vital part of the Academy's history, and us that we respect his legacy," says ACM EVP/Managing Director Tiffany Moon. "We couldn't envision anybody more qualified to get the principal ever ACM Merle Haggard Spirit Award than Miranda." 

Miranda Lambert is waiting for the award.The 2016 ACM Honors function will happen on August 30 at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium, and the show will be created for TV by Dick Clark Productions and communicate on CBS on September 9 at 9 p.m.
